Job Summary:

We are seeking a Customer Experience Associate–an enthusiastic, approachable and highly motivated problem solver to add to the team and be the first point of contact for our customers within the Direct channel, which includes our website and Amazon.


  • Manage and provide above-and-beyond customer service and experience through live chat, email and phone channels
  • Become an expert on our products and answer consumer product related questions , e.g. “what moisturizer should I use for dry skin?”
  • Troubleshoot any site experience issues, like application of a promo code or shipping questions
  • Act as the internal voice of the customer–offer insight to the business to help build better products and improve the site experience
  • Suggest improvements to company processes (website, FAQs, UI/UX, back office procedures, etc.)
  • Produce regular reports summarizing activity
  • Perform additional duties as required

Experience and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in a customer service role for a beauty ecommerce brand
  • Experience with Zendesk or similar customer service system
  • A true people person–helping others is part of your DNA
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be a passionate problem solver
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy and follow-through
  • Interested in becoming a subject matter specialist in wellness, holistic skin & body care & herbal remedies
  • Tech savvy–must have the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously to respond to customer inquiries
  • Have a personal interest in wellness and strive to support the well-being of our community
