What is your shipping policy?

Through 12/31/2019, we are offering free ground shipping in the continental US only. After 12/31/19, we will offer free ground shipping on orders $75 or more in the continental US only.*

Orders are shipped Monday–Friday (excluding holidays) via UPS and US Postal Service (USPS). All ground product orders require 1–3 business days to process and up to 5–7 business days to arrive. All expedited orders require 1 business day to process and will then be shipped through the method of your choice.

How can I track my order? 

Once your order has been placed, you will receive a shipping confirmation email that will include tracking information. You can also track your order on your account page under “Orders”.

What is your returns policy? 
At Naturopathica, our goal is to help you find the perfect products for your skin and well-being, so if you are not totally satisfied, you may return any product within 30 days of your purchase, provided that it is at least half full.

Please Note: Only items purchased on may be accepted for returns. All in-store purchases must be returned to their original point of purchase. If you purchased from one of our authorized online retailers, please contact them directly for assistance. We do not accept exchanges.

How do I return an item?
    1. The process is easy! Simply email Customer Care at with the reason for your return to get started. Please use the word "Returns" and your Order Number in the Subject Line.
    We will be happy to provide you with a complimentary return shipping label. We can also help you find the right product for you!
    2. Download and complete our Returns Form.
    3. Include your completed Returns Form with your original packing slip and your product in your return package. Affix the complimentary return shipping label to your package, and ship it back to us by bringing it to the carrier on the return label.
    4. All returns will be credited back to the original credit card used within 10 business days of our Customer Care department receiving your order. We will notify you once your return has been processed.
How can I make changes to my order?
Once placed, online orders cannot be cancelled or changed. In an effort to get your order to you as quickly as possible, all online orders are sent to our warehouse for immediate processing. However, you may return orders for a refund.

Can I use a Gift Card in conjunction with a credit card payment on the website?
Yes, you can! First, apply your Gift Card or E-Gift Card by entering the number on the back of the gift card into the Redeem a Gift Card or Promo Code field, and the remaining amount will be charged to your credit card.

Where do I enter my promo code?

You may enter your promo code on our website at checkout, after you add your products to your shopping bag.

How can I get promotions?

You can receive promotions by signing up for our email subscription. To sign up, simply sign into your Account, visit the “Preference Center” page, and check the box. We will then send our exclusive online promotions to your email.

Free Samples:
At checkout, we often offer you the option to select 1 or more free samples with your Naturopathica order. After you select your free samples, they are added to your cart. Our free sample availability is limited and changes often. While we do our best to ship you the ones of your choice, due to limited supply, your free samples selections are fulfilled while supplies last. If your choice goes out of stock, it may be removed from your cart or substituted with a different free sample. If your samples arrive damaged or you receive different ones than you selected, we unfortunately are not able to re-ship your new free samples.  
Free Deluxe Minis/Trial Sizes:
At checkout, we occasionally offer you the option to select several free minis/trial sizes when your order reaches a specific dollar amount. After you select your free minis/trial sizes, they are added to your cart. While we do our best to ship you the ones of your choice, your selections are fulfilled while supplies last. How do I create an account? 
To create an account, click the “Log In” link at the top right corner of this website, then click the “Create your account” link under. Once you fill in the required information, you will receive a welcome email as a confirmation.

How can I reset my password? 
Click “Log in” at the top right corner of this website, and click on “Forgot your password?”. Enter the email address you used to set up your account and then click submit. You will receive an email with instructions on how to reset your password.

How can I update my password? 
Once you are on the My Account page, you can reset your password under the “Profile” tab.

How can I update my billing or shipping addresses?
Once you are on the My Account page, you can update your billing and shipping addresses by clicking on “My Addresses”.

How can I subscribe to your emails? 
You can subscribe to our emails by signing into your Account, then visiting the “Preference Center” page and checking the box. Make sure to check the box for exclusive online promotions, product tips and well-being rituals!

In what order do you apply skin care products?

As a general guideline, we recommend applying products in the following order:

 1. Cleanser
 2. Mist
 3. Enzyme Peel
 4. Mask
 5. Serum/Concentrate
   6. Facial Oil
 7. Eye and Lip Care
 8. Moisturizer
 9. UV Protection

Why do you apply Serums, Concentrates and Facial Oils before moisturizing?
Serums, Concentrates & Facial Oils should be applied after cleansing and misting/toning and before moisturizing because oils have a smaller molecular structure than moisturizers, which allows them to penetrate more deeply into the skin. Please note that blending any products with an SPF product will impact the sunscreen’s effectiveness.

What are Concentrates?
Concentrates are fast-absorbing, supercharged serums that contain a higher percentage of active ingredients. Targeted to address a wide range of skin concerns like breakouts, lack of radiance, signs of aging and dryness.

When should you use a Concentrate?
We like using them whenever our skin needs a pick-me-up - after traveling, during breakouts or periods of stress or when the seasons change. They are also great to start apply the week before a before a big event to help your skin look as healthy and radiant as possible.
For how long? Use morning and night for 7 days. Once you're finished swap it out for your preferred serum.

Are all of your products organic?
All of our products use proven botanicals including organic and natural ingredients, and are never tested on animals. Our organic and natural products are audited and certified by Ecocert, the largest and oldest independent natural and organic cosmetic certification body.

We have deliberately chosen not to limit ourselves to organic raw materials for two reasons. First, we choose to enhance selected formulas with clean cosmeceuticals for professional-grade results. Clean cosmeceuticals are performance-based active ingredients like Vitamin C that have been clinically proven to be effective in skin care and by their very nature cannot be extracted organically.

Naturopathica is dedicated to the health and well-being of the skin, which means we never use ingredients that can cause irritation. Instead we use nourishing botanicals like Aloe, Oats and seed oils to help strengthen the skin barrier and fight inflammation. See our list of ingredients we do not use.

Where do you source your ingredients? 
Naturopathica is committed to supporting small, independent farmers and distillers around the world. Our natural ingredients are harvested during peak season to provide the most potent benefits.

How do you obtain your essential oils? 
Our essential oils are distilled through clean processes such as cold-pressing, steam distillation and CO2 extraction. We never use extreme heat or chemical solvent extractions like as hexane in order to preserve the ingredient integrity and to avoid contact with known skin irritants.

How do I pick the best products for me?

Where do I find the expiration date on your products?
Our Skin and Body Care products feature a period after opening (PAO) symbol on the back of the package label or carton which specifies the length of time during which it is best to use the product after opening. This symbol looks like a can with an open lid and a time such as 6M (6 months) written on the symbol.

Our Skin Care products are best if used within 6 months after opening.
Our Body Care products are best if used within 12 months after opening. 
Our Herbal Remedies are best if used within 3 years of purchase.

How should I care for my products? 
Keep your products out of direct sunlight. Store in a cool, dark place. 

Is all of your product packaging eco-friendly?
Yes, our custom glass bottles are recyclable, our tubes are made from 70% post-consumer recycled plastic and our cartons come from 100% post-consumer waste recycled fibers.

Which products have SPF? 
Our products that contain sun protection are: Lavender Protective Moisturizer SPF 17 and Daily UV Defense Cream SPF 50.

Why are some items out of stock? 
We make our products with high quality ingredients, sourced from small farmers and distillers around the world and we never compromise the quality of our ingredients. Due to changes in environmental factors, some of our products may be out of stock. If a product you are interested is out of stock, please contact us for the estimated availability date.

Are your products safe for pregnant clients? 
While every ingredient we use is carefully selected to meet safety and efficacy standards, it is recommended that consumers who are pregnant or nursing consult with their physician for any contraindications. Please note that a complete ingredient list can be found on the product page.
