Product Marketing Manager

We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to drive product innovation and oversee the development of our skin care, body care and herbal remedy collections. This role will work closely with the marketing team on the innovation of quality products that meet the brand strategy and the successful launch of new products. We are a wellness company that is looking for passionate candidates that are motivated to build our brand’s national presence within a fast-growing industry.   • Lead innovation of new product concepts and product reformulations for retail and professional-only
  • Provide direction for the development of quality products that meet the Brand strategy and fill in need-gaps or new business opportunities
  • Project manage and trouble-shoot issues from concept, initiation, development, evaluation and launch in timely fashion
  • Be a team player with Marketing, Supply Chain, R&D, Education & PR aiding in each step of the development process.
  • Responsible for conducting market research, product pricing, forecasting and SKU management
  • Lead product claims, safety and clinical testing
  • Lead competitor research as well as stay informed on relevant trends in products, ingredients, formulas and packaging
  • Work with purchasing to optimize primary and secondary packaging development (functionality, design, copy and regulatory compliance)
  • Create product communications (features, benefits, key ingredients, positioning and claims) and be able to transform scientific concepts into consumer-friendly language
  • Develop product launch plan and budget
  • Work with members of the marketing team to initiate and implement promotional programs and activities to support launches/campaigns and drive overall brand success
  • Work with PR, Education and Sales to develop and execute communication programs to support the launch and campaigns
  • Create samples, testers, materials, and forecasts, or each new product
  • Product management and maintenance; ensure information is kept up to date and consistent across all channels
  • Monitor and analyze all launches, product penetration and promotional results and recommend points of improvement.
  • Partner with marketing team to strategically manage product sell-through
Experience and Requirements:
  • 5+ years of product marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing
  • Highly creative individual with excellent project management skills
  • Very strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work agilely
  • Demonstrated success in a leadership position
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications: Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Self-motivated, results oriented and delivers on deadlines
  • A personal interest in wellness

Customer Experience Associate

We are seeking a Customer Experience Associate–an enthusiastic, approachable and highly motivated problem solver to add to the team and be the first point of contact for our customers within the Direct channel, which includes our website Naturopathica.com and Amazon.

  • Manage and provide above-and-beyond customer service and experience through live chat, email and phone channels
  • Become an expert on our products and answer consumer product related questions, e.g. “what moisturizer should I use for dry skin?”
  • Troubleshoot any site experience issues, like application of a promo code or shipping questions
  • Act as the internal voice of the customer–offer insight to the business to help build better products and improve the site experience
  • Suggest improvements to company processes (website, FAQs, UI/UX, back office procedures, etc.)
  • Produce regular reports summarizing activity
  • Perform additional duties as required
Experience and Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in a customer service role for a beauty ecommerce brand
  • Experience with Zendesk or similar customer service system
  • A true people person–helping others is part of your DNA
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be a passionate problem solver
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy and follow-through
  • Interested in becoming a subject matter specialist in wellness, holistic skin & body care & herbal remedies
  • Tech savvy–must have the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously to respond to customer inquiries

Full Time; Retail Sales, Skincare and Holistic Health, New York

We are seeking an energetic, focused, and inspired Retail & Wellness Specialist to join the team at Naturopathica Chelsea, our new flagship spa and retail door in NYC. This features a uniquely branded retail environment which showcases the entire Naturopathica product line, 6 treatment rooms, Meditation Lounge, Vitality Bar and Remedy Bar. The ideal candidate will be a sales specialist who is passionate about people, skincare, and herbal remedies who will share our mission to create a unique experience for all clients through exemplary customer service. Applicants must be persuasive, articulate and willing to invest time to become truly expert in Naturopathica products and services. The position offers great opportunity for long term career development within the Company.  

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Greet, engage, and educate clientele on holistic skin care and herbal remedies
  • Meet or exceed retail sales goals
  • Ensure merchandising and operational standards are upheld
  • Build brand loyalty through great customer service
  • Maintain an active knowledge of all operational systems, products, treatments, and brand developments
  • Greet spa guests, book appointments, check guests in/out and provide warm, courteous customer service
  • Assist in planning and execution of in-store events
  • Assist Vitality Bar and Remedy Bar as needed
  • Responsible for maintenance of spa standards: treatment rooms, meditation room, consultation room, guest bathroom and dressing rooms
  • Attend training sessions as deemed necessary by the Manager
Skills and Experience:
  • Proven ability to achieve sales goals, with 2+ years of experience in luxury skin care, herbal remedies, or wellness retail environment  
  • Demonstrable capability to manage customer expectations and build loyalty
  • Ability to communicate effectively and present information to customers and colleagues  
  • Take initiative to present and sell merchandise in a professional manner through product demonstration while focusing on the features and benefits of the product line
  • Esthetics background a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to anticipate and solve problems and work with minimal supervision  
  • Exceptional ability to develop relationships, solve problems, use good judgment and influence customers/co-workers
Other requirements:
  • Available to work a flexible schedule, which may include day, evening, weekend and holiday hours with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
