Customer Experience Associate

We are seeking a Customer Experience Associate–an enthusiastic, approachable and highly motivated problem solver to add to the team and be the first point of contact for our customers within the Direct channel, which includes our website Naturopathica.com and Amazon.

  • Manage and provide above-and-beyond customer service and experience through live chat, email and phone channels
  • Become an expert on our products and answer consumer product related questions, e.g. “what moisturizer should I use for dry skin?”
  • Troubleshoot any site experience issues, like application of a promo code or shipping questions
  • Act as the internal voice of the customer–offer insight to the business to help build better products and improve the site experience
  • Suggest improvements to company processes (website, FAQs, UI/UX, back office procedures, etc.)
  • Produce regular reports summarizing activity
  • Perform additional duties as required
Experience and Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in a customer service role for a beauty ecommerce brand
  • Experience with Zendesk or similar customer service system
  • A true people person–helping others is part of your DNA
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be a passionate problem solver
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy and follow-through

Product Marketing Manager

We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to drive product innovation and oversee the development of our skin care, body care and herbal remedy collections. This role will work closely with the marketing team on the innovation of quality products that meet the brand strategy and the successful launch of new products. We are a wellness company that is looking for passionate candidates that are motivated to build our brand’s national presence within a fast-growing industry.   • Lead innovation of new product concepts and product reformulations for retail and professional-only
  • Provide direction for the development of quality products that meet the Brand strategy and fill in need-gaps or new business opportunities
  • Project manage and trouble-shoot issues from concept, initiation, development, evaluation and launch in timely fashion
  • Be a team player with Marketing, Supply Chain, R&D, Education & PR aiding in each step of the development process.
  • Responsible for conducting market research, product pricing, forecasting and SKU management
  • Lead product claims, safety and clinical testing
  • Lead competitor research as well as stay informed on relevant trends in products, ingredients, formulas and packaging
  • Work with purchasing to optimize primary and secondary packaging development (functionality, design, copy and regulatory compliance)
  • Create product communications (features, benefits, key ingredients, positioning and claims) and be able to transform scientific concepts into consumer-friendly language
  • Develop product launch plan and budget
  • Work with members of the marketing team to initiate and implement promotional programs and activities to support launches/campaigns and drive overall brand success
  • Work with PR, Education and Sales to develop and execute communication programs to support the launch and campaigns
  • Create samples, testers, materials, and forecasts, or each new product
  • Product management and maintenance; ensure information is kept up to date and consistent across all channels
  • Monitor and analyze all launches, product penetration and promotional results and recommend points of improvement.
  • Partner with marketing team to strategically manage product sell-through
Experience and Requirements:
  • 5+ years of product marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing
  • Highly creative individual with excellent project management skills
  • Very strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work agilely
  • Demonstrated success in a leadership position

Production Planner – Supply Chain

We are seeking a Production Planner to manage the supply chain and logistics flow for all finished goods and inventory. Our ideal candidate will be analytical as well as comfortable working cross-functionally with all departments within the organization. This individual will help shape the supply chain and logistics process by bringing industry best practices to our growing team!

  • Work alongside sales, marketing, and eCommerce teams to ensure that inventory is always at the right place and right time
  • Develop and manage an allocation process that aligns with the business forecasts for all sales channels
  • Track the progress of finished goods inventory with manufacturers and partner with the warehouse to prioritize any urgencies
  • Collaborate with materials planning team to ensure that are no inventory shortages or liabilities
  • Act as liaison between Marketing, Product Development, R&D, PDM, Packaging and Creative in all areas relating to the product-to-market timeline for new product launches
  • Partner with marketing and product development teams to assist in new product launches, product reformulations, and any promotional activities that will impact inventory
  • Manage the SKU lifecycle process including new launches, product reformulations, packaging changes and product discontinuations  
  • Responsible for inventory reconciliation for goods received at the warehouse and troubleshoot any issues and discrepancies
  • Develop the demand forecast on a SKU level for the Amazon sales channel and validate forecasts with the eCommerce team to ensure alignment
  • Manage relationship with the distribution center to ensure that high service levels are achieved for all Naturopathica customers
Experience and Requirements:
  • 2-3 years planning/allocation/logistics relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high level of attention to detail
  • Understanding of retail supply chain
  • Proficient in Excel, Outlook, Office

Materials Planning Manager – Supply Chain

We are seeking a Materials Planning Manager to manage the supply chain and logistics flow for all of our unfinished goods inventory to make sure that all components are always in the right place and right time. Our ideal candidate will be analytical, with a high level of attention to detail as well as the ability to work cross-functionally. This individual will help shape the supply chain and logistics process by bringing industry best practices to our growing team!

  • Develop and maintain forecasts to ensure that production plans for multiple co-manufacturers are optimized to the needs of the business
  • Manage inventory of raw materials, packaging, components, labeling and copy materials across multiple locations as well the owner for product data and BOM
  • Work alongside the production planning team to ensure daily production plans are in line with business needs by ensuring inventory of bulk materials and packaging are available
  • Manage manufacturer relationships to ensure that materials are delivered on a timely basis and proactively escalate any issues with production
  • Work with the production planner on execution of new product launches, reformulations, and packaging changes
  • Work with current suppliers for sourcing new component and packaging options for new and existing product lines
  • Monitor inventory levels to avoid material shortages and reduce excess/obsolete materials
  • Collaborates with the internal cross-functional teams for monthly forecast alignment across all sales channels
Experience and Requirements:
  • Degree in Business, Mathematics, or Supply Chain is preferred
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in supply planning, plant operations, and/or inventory management required
  • Experience with MRP system
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with manufacturers and vendors
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Excel skills
  • Experience with packaging a plus

This features a uniquely branded retail environment which showcases the entire Naturopathica product line, 6 treatment rooms, Meditation Lounge, Vitality Bar and Remedy Bar. The ideal candidate will be a sales specialist who is passionate about people, skincare, and herbal remedies who will share our mission to create a unique experience for all clients through exemplary customer service. Applicants must be persuasive, articulate and willing to invest time to become truly expert in Naturopathica products and services. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Greet, engage, and educate clientele on holistic skin care and herbal remedies
  • Meet or exceed retail sales goals
  • Ensure merchandising and operational standards are upheld
  • Build brand loyalty through great customer service
  • Maintain an active knowledge of all operational systems, products, treatments, and brand developments
  • Greet spa guests, book appointments, check guests in/out and provide warm, courteous customer service
  • Assist in planning and execution of in-store events
  • Assist Vitality Bar and Remedy Bar as needed
  • Responsible for maintenance of spa standards: treatment rooms, meditation room, consultation room, guest bathroom and dressing rooms
  • Attend training sessions as deemed necessary by the Manager
Skills and Experience:
  • Proven ability to achieve sales goals, with 2+ years of experience in luxury skin care, herbal remedies, or wellness retail environment  
  • Demonstrable capability to manage customer expectations and build loyalty
  • Ability to communicate effectively and present information to customers and colleagues  
  • Take initiative to present and sell merchandise in a professional manner through product demonstration while focusing on the features and benefits of the product line
  • Esthetics background a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to anticipate and solve problems and work with minimal supervision  
  • Exceptional ability to develop relationships, solve problems, use good judgment and influence customers/co-workers

  • Available to work a flexible schedule, which may include day, evening, weekend and holiday hours with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
