DIY Relaxing Marjoram Compress

Ease sore muscles, cramping and indigestion with this calming compress.The spicy, slightly nutty scent of Marjoram is soothing and calming to the mind, and the herb contains antispasmodic properties to ease cramping and muscle soreness.


Fill a large pot with warm water, add 2-3 drops of Marjoram Essential Oil and swish water. Fold compress cloth (terry cloth cotton or flannel) into three parts and dip the center in hot water. Wring out the ends and apply to affected area. To minimize heat loss, cover the compress with a wool blanket. Re-soak the compress in hot water as soon as it loses heat.
