Rid your body of this weekend’s impurities with a Miso recipe. Traditionally served in Japan as a tonic for stomach or liver ailments, Miso also helps the body expel toxins and impurities.
Miso Soup Recipe
1 tablespoon Miso Paste
1 cup boiling water
½ cup soft Tofu, cut into small pieces
2 Scallions, thinly sliced
A few Watercress Leaves (optional)
Place the Miso in a bowl. Add ¼ cup of the boiling water and stir to make a thin paste. Stir in the remaining water as well as all of the remaining ingredients. Serve immediately.
Note: Watercress is an effective liver cleanser. Udon, a Japanese noodle, is sold at health food stores and Asian grocery stores.
