Wake Up Body and Mind with Essential Oils
Aromatherapy is an effective way to replenish your spirits. Burning incense or resinous essential oil beads like Copal, Sandalwood, or Myrrh can easily be done by lighting a small amount in an incense holder or ashtray. You can diffuse essential oils into the air with a humidifier or place 4–5 drops in an aromatherapy candle diffuser.
To create different moods with essential oils, try the following:
- To invigorate and energize: Grapefruit, Lemon, Lime, Cardamom
- To ground and calm the mind: Vetivert, Sandalwood, Chamomile, Pine
- To relieve depression: Bergamot, Mandarin, Lemon Verbena
- To ease anxiety: Rose Maroc, Lavender, Marjoram
