We have completely renovated our heritage spa in East Hampton and are looking to hire and develop a motivated team to bring our brand to life!

Take your career to the next level. Learn new protocols and build relationships with our A-list clientele, all while leveraging and incorporating your own experience and skill set. We have a beautiful team housing option for full-time applicants wishing to temporarily move out to the Hamptons.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Licensed Massage Therapist in a luxury spa, specialized certifications a plus
  • State of New York Massage Therapy License with current liability insurance
  • Highly motivated and results-driven
  • Understanding of the spa industry and its’ competitive environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of product and services, and general industry terms
  • Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Adapts to changes in the work environment and manages competing demands
  • Strong professional communication and presentation skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to collaborate / develop / maintain strong relationships and cross-functional efforts across all levels of the organization
  • Attend trainings, conferences and events, as required
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including, evenings, weekends and holidays

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Consistently provides best-in-class client service
  • Performs treatments and services per Naturopathica’s protocols, product usage recommendations and time allotment
  • Evaluates client to determine painful or stressed areas of the body
  • Advises client on stretching, strengthening or relaxation methods
  • Meticulous to detail to ensure thorough documentation of client records
  • Consistently reviews product knowledge and treatments protocols
  • Strong ability to sell, upsell and cross-sell spa products and services and build a client book
  • Provides information and feedback to management with the goal of fostering quality and efficiency in providing client services
  • Conducts outreach and referral development to meet sales goals and client scheduling expectations
  • Collaborates, develops and maintain strong relationships and cross-functional efforts across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management
  • Properly care for equipment
  • Follows policies and procedures, and upholds the standards of sanitation and sterilization, reporting to management needed changes or concerns
  • Remain knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and all aspects of Naturopathica’s marketplace
